Genuine old iron padlock with a single key. This old padlock is also called a barbed spring padlock. The key is pushed into the barrel of the lock and it releases a barb and the shank of the lock is released opening the padlock.
These antique padlocks were used to lock large antique wooden chests and wooden doors.
